Chad Worth Works

Phoenix, Arizona

Chad was born in Flagstaff, Arizona, in 1971. After graduating from Northern Arizona University, he got a job in Chicago as a graphic designer. A lifelong student, Chad spent his weekends at the Chicago Art Institute studying masterworks by Cézanne, Sargent, Thiebaud, and others. Inspired by their works, he purchased an easel and began to paint pictures.

These days Chad continues to paint pictures from Phoenix, Arizona. He explores various subjects, including southwestern landscapes, desert flora, and still life imagery.

“When I engage in the painting process, I strive to capture the essence of my subject. Inspiration comes from making the complex simple. My motivation comes from the challenge of expressing a unique style.”

“I’ve been influenced by the works of artists, both past and present. Past artists include Maynard Dixon, Georgia O’Keeffe, John Singer Sargent, and Euan Uglow. Present artists include Clyde Aspevig, Ann Gale, Catherine Kehoe, and Bruce Horn.”
